Blue Mountains ARC Linkage Project

‘History, heritage and environmental change in a deindustrialised landscape’ is a successful Australian Research Council Linkage project that investigates a 19th-century shale-mining community in Jamison Valley through archaeological and archival research complemented by oral histories.

April Site Survey

In April the team went to the project site and conducted surveys and some initial data collection. On this trip, the team included a number of Macquarie University PACE students to assist with data collection and survey.
